Re: SHIPYARD ALE PAINTBALL
This is a statement right here. ANYONE can be good, you just have to work for it and put the time in and learn. It drives me through the roof when people play 5 games of paintball and call that practice. You guys truly deserve to be in first place. Keep up the hard work major's is only going to be harder. Good luck.

Re: SHIPYARD ALE PAINTBALL
It makes me proud. I might be the poorest team owner there is in NE, I can't even afford to play x-ball. It's really a player owned team, I just keep everyone going in one direction. These guys go out there and grind 20-30 point practices in 100 degree heat, and they do it with one singular goal, win. Some of these teams we beat up on have a financial backer, have "super star" rosters and what not. We have 10 guys that trust the other 9 guys. I would take that any day. Although after this year guys like Jake LaBonte, Dylan Lim, and Josh Saphier (all from Maine) might not be flying under any ones radar anymore.

Re: SHIPYARD ALE PAINTBALL
Well our season is over, it was a good one and our biggest roster yet. Here's the breakdown:
Portland Shipyard: Placed 3rd in foXball minors. Our first year in the format and we had a blast. Would have liked to get that #1 but it wasn't in the cards, we got knocked out by NE United who won the title. This team will be back for next year.
Saco River Shipyard: 2nd place for the season at the NPS Novice division. We'll be back next year to continue crushing beers and not giving a f***.
Shipyard Green: 6th place finish in the NPS Novice division. This was a throw together team for every event, Thanks to Isaac and Jim from Blizzard for putting some time down on this team. I don't know what these clowns will do next year cause there's about 25 of them.
Monkey Fist: Finished 6th for the year in the Rookie Division. Uncle Mike led these guys from straight up beginners to a force to be reckoned with. It was fun watching these guys progress through the year and word on the street is that they will be back for more next year.
Thanks to our sponsors: Interstate Batteries, SupplementEdge.com, Captn Eli's and of course Shipyard Brewery.
I can't say enough how happy we are with our decision to play all the events at Fox 4 this year. foXball is a top notch league, and the NPS is so great. Fox 4 operates their tourneys with the players in mind and provides a quality product for a great price and no BS.
A bunch of us will be at the Creep Show event at Field 51, which has become our #1 choice for playing paintball for fun....and zombies.

Re: SHIPYARD ALE PAINTBALL
Another great year of SHIPYARD paintball, and I couldn't agree more Chief, the crew at Fox offers a much more enjoyable experience then the NEPL for tournament play. Monkey Fist will be back next year definitely, just make sure you bring the best beer in the world with you, SHIPYARD !!!!!!!

Wasn't a smart ass comment. If it was I would include one of these . Besides you guys still hold the title. Last time we played each other in a tournament, you were victorious. I'd rather have you take this a compliment.
