Good mask?
Well, as I'm selling my old event thermals (mainly because its a horrible fitting mask for someone with glasses) to a friend, it appears I'm in the market for a new mask. What do you guys recommend? And no price limit, not on safety gear.

Re: Good mask?
I am a fellow glasses wearer and I highly recommend the V-Force Profiler. Fits great even with glasses, and has really nice protection (I think some of the newer masks skimp on the coverage). Plus it is really easy to take the lenses out, but most masks come with that these days anyway.
Edit: I am in the minority, but I hate flex's because A.) the lenses are a pain to get out B.) The soft ears offer very little protection, which is something I am in to.

Im going to agree and say V-Force. I liked my old Grills though.
I wouldnt get flexes unless you really like them. You sacrifice protection for comfort/lightness

yeah the grillz are awesome for glasses, the lens bow really far out and you can see really will. I think the new event you can wear glasses under too, seeing as that chief had sunglasses on under them.

The extreme rage 20/20 was made for people with glasses. They weren't the most popular mask, but I think they are great. The frames were larger and had more room for glasses, and there was a fan built in too. If it was good enough for the Russian Legion, its good enough for me.

Lessee. As far as flexes, the ear thing turns me off, where my ears hurt enough. Ummm, grillz, I'll ask my Dad if I can try his on tonight. And I'll look up the extreme rage 20 20 tonight.

Re: Good mask?
My personal mask of choice is proflex's. I just made my 4th pair with camo frames and olive green bottoms.
I've owned Grillz. Not bad. Just don't like the lacking of for-head protection.
I've owned I3 Pros. Those are personally my mask of choice. They felt good and work real well.
Profilers - Owned some for a day...Sold them the following day. Couldn't stand them at all.
I've played with E-vent's a few times and still want to buy a pair. Just never really interested me.

Re: Good mask?
O.k, so I tried on my Dads grillz, and just didn't like them. Something about them.
So those are out. Event wise. I tried on a pair last year (09's) and they were epic. But I've heard (but can't yet confirm, though working on it) they had poor quality and only one lense. I3's, never tried them, can't say anything.
So I guess I'm just going to keep looking, make a choice tomorrow.

No thank you Devon, and I'd appreciate your opinion of those I3's with glasses Sniper. That seems to be highly recommended all around and with no bad...

Re: Good mask?
They are. I tried on a pair of 09's, and they were epic. But I've been hearing the quality has gone down, as well as the fact it only comes with one lense at 100. Is it just me or is that rediculous?

Re: Good mask?
So I tried mine with the gf's reading glasses and they fit fine. I couldnt feel them pressing on my nose or ears, didnt really feel them at all. These some with a tinted thermal lense and some cool stickers... . Plus they have the soft ear pieces that are pretty thick and comfy...after looking around I found these for 89.95 and come with a free dye jersey, but its only in x-small...on the same site they come with a free fan for the same price...or in red for only 65..

Re: Good mask?
They were thermals actually... but don't ask me the difference other than the comfort was horrid. I guess I'm going with the I3's then, as I have yet to hear something bad and your info was great sniper. Though I have yet to find a cheap pair other than those red ones (bleh...).
