Information leak: As the date of the American invasion of German held Lake Frederick gets closer, military intelligence units start to gather vital information about the upcoming battle. The Americans will have to start plans on how to secure the beach head in order for the Allies to make sure that they can gain a foothold in the German occupied territory. While at the same time, the Germans will need to concentrate on pushing back the American invasion force back to the sea. During the invasion, there is expected heavy fighting all over the region. Intelligence reports have stated the German’s are fortifying the Atlantic Wall under their general’s guidance which will surely lead to a hard and stubborn battle along the beaches. Reports also state that the Americans are planning to drop paratrooper regiments behind German lines to cause chaos and confusion to the Germans. Lastly, one of our smaller attack planes did a recon flight over the possible invasion area. (photo available on facebook).

The new date for the Fall Combat Classic Event is 31 March and 1 April. Below is the information we have pertaining to the event.

The United States Military Academy Paintball Team Proudly presents The Spring '12 Combat Classic: D-Day
The scenario will be based off of the the D-Day landings on the beaches of Normandy during World War 2.
The generals for this game are to be announced
Below is the information available as of right now. More information to follow as it is confirmed.

Generals:
__________ - Germany (Red)
__________- United States (Blue)
Date: March 31 and April 1 with play on both dates.
Where: Lake Frederick camping area on West Point. Detailed driving instruction posted here and at www.armypaintball.com.
*NOTE* If you are using a GPS navigator to get to the game then be sure to avoid using Bull Pond Road as it is blocked off. This area will provide more camping room than the past few years, better access to the Thruway and Central Valley, and challenging terrain that West Point is known for!

Prices:
Registration: $40 pre-registration, $50.00 day of the game. Registration gets you both days of play, free camping, free air both days, and an entry into the prize raffle/giveaway at the end of game play on Sunday. Note that this game there will be no CO2 provided.

How did it go?

Great event - 750 players - Germans won this one - they even swapped out the sides we played on and we still spanked them.

I have 29 gigs of video that needs to be edited down to one clip - I'll share once it gets done.
