Hurricanes in Maine? Empty Hurricanes in Maine?

Off topic, so let's not divurge but:
1. Yes. NEH is playing Chicago. I also know that 187 is playing Chicago. I am not sure which other teams from this area are (does LIFT count as "from this area"?)

2. NEH has practiced at Matt's Outback, Fox4, Camelot, Riptide and Maynard. It isn't easy being a 'homeless' team, and we are out there looking for opportunities just like everyone else. On my list for future practices are all of the fields I just mentioned plus Bennetts All Weather Paintball and OAC. It's just finding the right opportunity for us practice-wise, schedule-wise and wallet-wise.

O dang. Shocked That would be incredible for paintball in Maine. Even having the Hurricanes practice once in our state is awesome, and the fact that it is a possibility that BAP could become a regular practice field for them is huge.

I know, that is why I said that even having them practice ONCE in the state is awesome and that there is at least a POSSIBILITY that BAP could become a regular practice field for them is huge.

Depending on where most of them live BAP could be an unrealistic place for them to practice regularly, but it is still very cool.

Soo... Do we know for sure if or when they plan on coming? It would be such a boost to paintball in Maine if they even came once

george do you have to be so negative all the time.... seriously.

everyone understands that they are not a pro team anymore, but the name is still associated w/ Pro Paintball. If them comming up to the state bring 1-2 people on to the fields to see them play that day... its still a boost to paintball in maine.

I think this is cool

i can believe them coming up to maine a few times just to practice, but a home field in maine? i think a few of us agree that would never happen.

But a few appearances would be cool, prop only be at birch hill tho. Which i think is overpriced but w/e

Not trying to be negative I am wondering why would it boost paintball in maine, a majority of maine paintball is woodsball after all. Do you think it will give kids drive to pursue xball and play at Bap every weekend. Them coming out to birch when they were pro did not do anything I think only the birch hill guys went (could be due to lack of people knowing about birch hill I don't know). What is a boost in paintball in maine, more people playing? I think the economy will boost maine paintball. I know I am coming off as negative I am trying not to be, but there is logic to what I am saying. I think its cool to they are still the best franchise in NE and I would love to see if they film birth of storm at bap.

this is true, i would guess only 10-15% of ballers in Maine know who they are.

This is really cool. I don't think them playing in Maine once will do much for paintball in Maine, maybe if they played here regularly it would draw some more interest from speedball teams in New England, but I don't see this evolving into that. Nonetheless, I hope they come up here and meet some of the players in Maine to see that paintball here isn't absent.
