Ego 6 Problem?
I need some help. I got this gun in a trade and replaced the qevs but its still having issues.
From what I can see its a bad noid. Its airs up, has pressure in the ram and valve but wont cycle? Just chuffs like my shocker did when it was getting bolt stick.
let me know if you know any more/ better than me.
Thanks

From the Previous Owner
"Only thing I can think of would be replacing/oiling the ram o-rings. Have you taken it to a eclipse tech?"

Re: Ego 6 Problem?
well you probably just clog your qev with grease which is not good but did you test the hpr because that macdev reg bounced up on me and destroyed my 07s noid

Re: Ego 6 Problem?
I tested the hpr on my phantom with a gauge after I cleaned and regreased it and it was fine. If the qevs were the problem then it would have shot the first shots then stopped. It just wont cycle at all.

Oh, I just remembered this. The reg might not have been bouncing for you. Its just sooo sensitive. One full turn is about 400-450 psi and I got it up to 650-700 psi on my phantom.

Re: Ego 6 Problem?
try the LPR.... and
"make sure the ram is "put together properly" i guess there is a pin that has to catch the Ram to grab it forward. it the pin isnt set properly then it wont shoot"

Re: Ego 6 Problem?
The bolt pin has to come down and secure to the top of the ram. You will notice a difference between the height of the bolt pin when it is secured properly to the ram, and when it is not. The base of the bolt pin looks kind of like a crescent and will come down into a groove on the ram.
Re: Ego 6 Problem?
The lpr is fine. As you can tell from the video. There is pressure holding the ram back. The noid just isnt cycling(not not fully, It chuffs.
The ram is together right. I know how it works. I've had two Intimidators.
It might be an easy fix but at this point on done with it. After $50 and a huge headache I'm giving up.

Re: Ego 6 Problem?
talked to a Ego6 owner, and the guy told me this....
"oil it, make sure its clean, replace o-rings, raise dwell and lpr."
apparently it's not an UN-common thing w/ the ego5-6's to have the ram stick.
