velocity hopper
score 7/10
the reasons this hopper is so low on my chart is because of three reasons
1- battery consumption, yes i know you can put a bord in it but still it eats batteries
2- The constant feeding, there are no eyes so it is alawys trying to feed paintballs causing a noise and butt battery consumption. not good for woodsball.
3- size it is pretty big compared to some of the newer hoppers.
this hopper is a good loader and will keep up with any gun and u can find them fairly cheep but it is not the best hopper in the world

Re: velocity hopper
A Gangstar or Virtue chip makes a HUGE difference, and is relatively cheap. Not only does mine improve battery life, but I don't have to listen to the constant feed noise any more.
Re: velocity hopper
yep thats how you could turn the 6.5 score into a 8.5 in my books.

Re: velocity hopper
I am waiting for Viewloader to come out with a hopper that rivals the Pinokio/Rotor/Phrophecy

Re: velocity hopper
Maybe for 2010? IMO they should have combined the VLo and Egg. Take VLo style shells don't put on constant ball tention and throw in some awsome squishy paddles and you would have a hella tight loader.
The egg did awsome last winter with the reballs. I jammed twice once I shook it a lil and it worked, the other time I had to stop the snap drill so that I could pull the three inch long wood chip out of my feedneck
