Canobie Paintball Final Game

ON NOVEMBER 15th

Since this is a Maine paintball site, I am not 100% sure the admin would care for it but...I feel paintball as a whole should be appreciated and not just by one state.

Canobie Paintball is in Windham, NH. About an hour from the big bridge to Portsmouth / Kittery etc.

This is a historic paintball site and "the oldest in the world" and it's packing up. A sad day for paintball.

Canobie is famous for their big games in the winter, spring, and fall. These games always have an insane turnout from 300-1000 participants. There is a free hot dog lunch of all you can eat hot dogs that is included in entry paid.

Entrance is $35. BYOP or buy on site. This is the game NOT to miss.

If an ADMIN wants to take this down, feel free. I personally grew up about 10 mins. away from this place and can attest to non-stop fun, safety, and an overall great atmosphere.

a sad day it will be, a great field played there during summer when i went to N.H. well worth the trip, im glad i got to play there this summer

ill be there ive already made reservations at the red roof inn....im gonna take some pics and maybe some vids...target rich environment

i know..it sucks because theres all kinda stuff on the 15th too..im hoping 51 does another day...but this thing is huge and im hoping to find something cheap from a vendor...and i made my reservations 3 weeks ago...

Red Roof inn is like...a minute away from the field. It's all over excellent. I am not saying I'd choose one field over another but Canobie does take the cake in the big games I've been to in my days.

I'll be there too guys, how early do you think I should show up?

Talked to you but I think you we might wanna show up a little earlier just cuz theres gonna be tons of people there IDK I posted asking on all the major forums we will see what people say

yeah...good point....especially if the turn out really winds up being 800-1000 like some of the posts on other sites have said...thats a target rich environment....

I will be there with some of the Shipyard guys... The first game is at 9. But I think they have instant recycle and the first game runs till 130.

There is instant recycle. The 1st game gets over at around 11:30 I believe, then a little lunch / raffle drawing, second game for about an hour and a half, then the big showdown at the village starts at about 2:30.

All of those are subject to change, though in the past 10 or so I've been to, the times have been very consistent.

wow...talk about some serious firefights...

Some serious firefights, some serious serious serious bonus balling (goes with the territory) and some just overall fun...What a way to end an era.

i know its sad...i took some pics for memorabilia..north andover is like 20 minutes away but itll be a smaller place. yeah i made a stand on the upper road and got over run and shot from behind at the same time it was kinda funny..all my teamates were running backwards, pansys, i was just standing there with a full loader over my hopper spraying...i wish the last game hadnt been lopsided red put up a good fight but could have been easily over run if yellow had just been more aggressive. It was a great day overall.
