Angel Shuts Down....

That sucks. Angel(WDP) changed paintball. but this could have been perdicted for a few year now. No real change in there guns, they pushed there design to the limit it seems.

I think it was those ugly ass masks that did it.

Never was a fan.... Not gonna miss them. Ugly, overcomplicated paper weights.

Back in 2001 when we got our LCD's they were the best guns on the field. They required no maintenance, never broke down, and shot great.
I still have an LCD and it still works great.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder....

I've owned 2 arsenal g7 flys ... if it weren't for the bizarre board trigger settings they would be on top of my favorite list.

I was still happily shooting my Mag in 2001. It still shoots like a champ. I'd put it up against a LCD in 2001 or 2011.

Wow, I was happily shooting my mag in 1994, and mine still shoots like a champ too, but if given a choice between the two for anything serious, its a no brainer, I'd have to take the LCD.
I've owned every Mag from the classic, mini mag, mags with double triggers, RT's, to the E mag with warp feed.

In 2001 I was playing down in GA. When I moved back from there I played at rogue's woodball field till I joined the Shipyard in 2005. Shipyard was formed from the old NE devil dogs team.

I started playing in 1992, shot pretty much everything created since, I never liked, or trusted any of the Angel guns.

Any time you wanna meet up and see who puts the most paint on the other one with their ANgel or Mag, I'm always game, I'll bring the beer.

This is turning into quite a thread drift, but........
We used to play against the Devil Dogs a bunch back in the 90's. Great bunch of guys, they had tie dyes for jerseys. We even played in some of their events in Weare, NH I believe.

I suppose there might have been a bad Angel out there somewhere, but none of my guys ever had one. We had 6 of them and ran the crap out of them with no issues for two full seasons. We were never outgunned on the field.

now the more that I think about I like angel for, they stuck with their own design. The design had flaws and many quirks but atleast they did not copy anything.
