Re: Empire pump gun
Checked this thing out at WC. Price was right at 425ish. Solid little gun, I would like the pump action to be smoother though. Maybe once it gets broken in it will smooth out the chunkiness......
My only other complaint would be that I smashed my thumb the first time I pumped it. The little verticle lever above the grip is in the same place I normally put my thumb when I shoot right handed. Not a huge deal but it f*** hurt.

Re: Empire pump gun
I checked out Carter's he bought at WC when he was at F51. Its about 100 bucks less than a new CCM just as Cheif said. Compared it to my Autococker pump and the CCMs at the field. I would say its a pretty good value. Comes with 3 barrel backs. The hitman handle is removeable. Stroke is way better than my autococker, slightly less good as the CCMs. Comes with clamping feedneck, and on-off asa. Everything you'd want to bolt onto the gun. The autotrigger was timed nice but I suspect some wont be because the trigger on Carter's has zero travel once cocked, the trigger just tripped without any free play. I'll put up his "unboxing video" once I find it...

Re: Empire pump gun
After reading luke warm reviews on this gun I think its a great intermediate pump gun. It does a lot of stuff, comes with a lot of stuff, and works well out of the box. The key is its price. Same price as some used CCM T2s and S6s. But do you want to spend 400 on a used gun or a new gun? The Empire is loud. CCMs not so much. Some CCMs have hammer bounce (fart). CCMs are all pretty smooth, the Empire is a little rougher. I guess you cant go wrong with either.
