Re: new tippmann gun.
Hey look! A cybrid!
Edit: This is kinda interesting if its in the entry level price range. Internal air line, thats kinda cool, hopefully it won't be a b**** to seal if it breaks. Like the spacing on the foregrip. Trigger looks like s***. I assume this has 98 internals? Composite body though, please tell me that doesn't mean plastic. Or something like those alpha black clam shells. They just... weren't solid. Felt cheap. Huh.
Edit 2: 69 plus shipping on ans (marker only). Even cheaper than the Spyders and KP's.

All ive got to say is that if its as tough as most tippys, this thing should sell well to all the newbies

Sorry (not really ). I tend not to read details when wearing contacts. Kills my eyes.

I think it looks like dog crap. Actually it looks worse then that. But it's good for the beginners.

Re: new tippmann gun.
Found a vid. And it does have 98 internals apparently.

Anyone notice the grip frame is where the powertube should be, instead of the hammer? I just figured that out.

After watching that, it doesn't look that bad... Still I'd only use it for a custom project since plastic is so much easier to cut... Or just lend it out to people and fart around with it.

The tippmann rep that posted it on MCB is getting all of the bad comments about it. People are just shutting it down hard.

Re: new tippmann gun.
Stole this off MCB (like the video that someone on here later posted back on mcb ), but apparently MCB stole this from pbnation so.

Theres a bunch more pics on mcb, but all the little links were so damned annoying.
The point is, you can kinda see how this marker works. The internal gasline is simple, and explains why Tippmann moved the gripframe forward (other than because it would be nicer). The shell looks like the standard pot metal tippmann pours into a mold, though at the bottom it looks more like plastic. The trigger I don't think is salvageable. Standard 98 internals, nothing special there, except for a slightly modded bolt (designed to look like a high end poppit with the pin out the top???). Feedneck is cool but looks like plastic also? The only major fails I spy is the non changeable asa and lack of barrel threads??? Oh, and the fact the trigger rod thing appears to be rubbing the internal airline.

Good for the beginners but wasn't the real "ultimate starter kit for new players" the 98 Custom anyway?
