eh, it looks to me like they were trying to shave a little more material off. I don't think they look bad really. CP is still a top aftermarket company. (not saying you thought differently). I don't like the looks of them as much as the other ones, but I think I would get used to it.

what were they thinking they already had a great design and its been that way for as long as i can remember

So wait. The only thing they changed is the looks??? Weird... but interesting.
Yet it kinda fits. You know how everything speedball is going lighter and smaller and more advanced milling and all that hitech stuff? Why not the regs, if only the outside. Got to match.

Honestly I like this look more than the older one. I always wanted a cp reg but never thought it would look good on one of my guns.

Yeah I think it looks fine, they haven't changed in so long why not put out a diferent look.
